Algerian president receives Moroccan sports minister

President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria on Wednesday received visiting Moroccan youth and sports minister, Ahmed Moussaoui, who arrived in Algiers earlier in the day with an oral message from King Mohammed VI. Moussaoui told the press that he raised with Bouteflika Morocco's candidacy to host the 2006 World Cup and other topics related to the consolidation of bilateral relations.
Morocco is competing with South Africa, England, Germany and Brazil to stage the event. The host country will be selected next July.
