Heavy material losses inflicted in Khartoum building collapse

The building of the river navigation commission in Khartoum collapsed on Monday, and this resulted in several slight injuries among the staff of the commission, while heavy material losses were reported.
The commission's director, Seif El-Din Shawqi, said the presumed life span of the building had expired, as it was built in 1915. He announced an open vacation for the staff until a new premises is provided.
