Report: Sudanese president to dissolve the ruling National Congress Party

The Sudanese Akhbar al-Youm newspaper has quoted Sudanese political sources as saying that President Omar al-Bashir will dissolve the ruling National Congress Party.
The paper added that this decision falls in the course of a comprehensive decision to dissolve all political sequence party after the cancellation of the "Political sequence" and replacing it with the political parties and organizations law. (the word stand for sequence is in Arabic "al-Tawali", things that go in a series . And it has become a common name for a law in
Sudan al-Tawali political sequence."
The paper added that the government might establish another party whose general secretariat would be led by Vice President Ibrahim Ahmad Omar.
The paper also expected that dissolving the party will once again raise differences, a matter which could have a negative impact on the government.
Worthy mentioning the secretary general of the National Congress Party, Hassan Turabi, intends today to tour this party's bases in the Sudanese states.
