Israel continues its violation of Lebanese airspace

Israeli warplanes on Monday flew over southern Lebanese areas intensively and at low altitude.

Lebanese security sources said this coincided with Israeli spy planes flying reconnaissance missions over the airspace of the border villages in south Lebanon.

On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces renewed their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the occupation bombarded the outskirts of Barachit town, using heavy shelling.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out mock and provocative raids in the airspace over the al-Nabatieh and al-Tuffah districts, and the Israeli warplanes continued their sorties over the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon at intermediate altitudes.

Resistance groups attacked the Israeli occupation position and its allied South Lebanon Army militia in Barachit, using rockets and mortars.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said direct hits were achieved on the Israeli position.
