Kuwaiti - Egyptian agreements on consultation and coordination and signing 3 agreements

The the second session for the supreme joint Kuwaiti - Egyptian committee concluded at the headquarters of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry under the chairmanship of Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah, Kuwait's first deputy prime minister and foreign minister, which lasted for three days.

Moussa asserted that, "The Arab Nation is in a stage that will not be pushed forward except by creating a joint interest and that developing the cooperation horizons between the two countries lays a great responsibility on us."

The two ministers signed at the end of the committee's work a report on this session and an executive protocol for international and land transportation for passengers and goods, as well as a cooperation agreement in the agricultural field between the two states.

The committee reviewed means of boosting Egyptian - Kuwaiti relations in the economic, commercial and cultural fields as well as in scientific research, addiction, higher education, social affairs, youths, sports, transportation, heath, agriculture and investments through five subcommittees.

The two sides adhered to exchanging points of view toward the peace process and a future vision for Middle East and Gulf's security in addition to the subjects listed on the agenda of the coming session of the Arab League council in the middle of next month.
