Reformation movement wins majority in Iranian elections

The Iranian reform movement received in the parliament elections 75% of the total of the first round seats of the new Shura council's elections. The reformists got the five seats in Asfahan city, which is considered the third-largest city in Iran.
On the other hand, 8 persons were killed and nearly 23 were injured when the Iranian police forces shot demonstrators who crowded to protest the results of these elections in some Iranian cities.
The reformists got a large number of seats in the large Iranian cities.
