UAE defense minister makes surprise inspections

Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum yesterday carried out surprise inspections of Dubai courts, a police criminal lab, the Bur Dubai traffic police station, Rashid Port and Dubai Dry-Docks, finding numerous absent workers and managers, Khaleej Times reported.
