Egypt reconstructs destroyed Lebanese electric stations

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid has announced that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will review today with members of the Egyptian Cabinet the detailed programs for rebuilding and maintaining the Lebanese power stations which were destroyed as a result of the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

The reconstruction cost vary between 37 to 45 million dollars.

The Egyptian premier indicated that an Egyptian work team headed for Lebanon. It includes the chairman of Egypt electricity department. The Egyptian team will make comprehensive reports concerning positions of the stations to be presented at President Mubarak in 48 hours. The report comprises the executive program for reform and the reconstruction as well as providing the equipment's. The reconstruction cost vary between 37 to 45 million dollars.

He stated that preparations are currently being made to discuss cooperation between the two states and ensure all forms of political and economic backing to Lebanon in confrontation of the Israeli attacks.
