Emir of Kuwait gets a message from Chinese president

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah has received a message from Chinese President Jiang Zemin pertaining to bilateral relations and means of developing and strengthening them.
The message was handed over by Chinese Foreign Minister Jiaxuan Tang during his meeting with the emir in Kuwait.
Earlier, the Kuwaiti deputy premier and foreign minister, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, reviewed with the Chinese FM relations between the two countries and means of developing them in various fields and means of fostering them.
The two sides also discussed several issues of mutual concern, the latest political developments on the regional and international levels and issues debated in the UN Security Council.
