Barak criticizes Arab backing for Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 2/21/2000
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak has criticized what he described as the campaign of provocation in the Arab world against Israel, asserting that this provocation will have an adverse impact on the Middle East peace process.
During a session of the Israeli Cabinet on Sunday aired by the Israeli Radio, Barak added that the different ways pursued by the Israeli forces in south Lebanon, especially in striking Lebanon's infrastructure, had resulted in great frustration in the Hizbullah Party and other Arab sides.
He said the current Israeli policy in Lebanon strongly reveals Israel's power and "the weakness of other's side forces."
