Sudanese foreign minister to visit Cairo Monday
Egypt-Sudan, Politics, 2/19/2000

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mostafa Othman Ismael is due to arrive in Cairo Monday on a two-day official visit, carrying a message from Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak that tackles the developments in Sudan and the results of his current tour of the Gulf area.

An official in the Sudanese embassy in Cairo told ArabicNews.com that the Sudanese official will arrive in Cairo on Monday carrying a message to President Mubarak tackling the results of the discussions held by the Sudanese president with officials in Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to which will head tomorrow and what was agreed upon in the coming steps.

He added that the Sudanese official's visit was scheduled on Saturday, yet escorting the Sudanese president to the Gulf states stood in the way.
