Morocco, Thailand to set up cooperation commission

Morocco and Thailand agreed to set up a joint commission to promote cooperation and spur trade exchanges.
The commission, that will see the light of day shortly, will endeavor to hoist bilateral cooperation to the level of the political relations binding the Kingdoms of Morocco and of Thailand, Moroccan Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi said after a meeting Saturday in Bangkok with Thai Premier Chuan Leekpal.
Youssoufi said he conveyed to his peer the feelings of esteem and friendship King Mohammed VI harbors for Thai King Bhumibol Adulvadej.
Youssoufi is in Bangkok where he attended a special meeting on development, part of the 10th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD X).
After Bangkok, he will fly to New Delhi for an official visit.
