Pope of Vatican visits Egypt for first time on coming Thursday

Pope of the Vatican John Paul II will arrive at Cairo next Thursday on his first visit to Egypt with an invitation from the Egyptian president Mubarak.
This three days visit comes in frame of the intimate relations between Egypt and Vatican and the Pope's positive stances concerning Jerusalem and the Palestinian rights.
Diplomatic sources in the Vatican embassy in Cairo said that the Pope' stances on the Middle East cause especially Jerusalem's file are principal and said that as he asserted more than once the last of which was in the opening conference of the bishop councils heads concerning discussing Jerusalem's case that Jerusalem is illegally military occupied.
