Cairo witnesses the first meeting of the international Interpol on product forgery

The first periodic meeting for the international criminal police organization Interpol - artistic division, was concluded yesterday in Cairo.

The organization chose Egypt this year to a headquarters for Middle area's meetings to discuss the problems confronting the artistic category in the area and combating forgery and copying of products and computer software as well as protection rights for intellectual property.

Neil Serfied, the British manager of the organization for Middle East affairs will head the meetings. While Egypt will be presented by the head of the organization's branch in Egypt Magdi El-Amrousi and the head of the sponsoring body on the protection against artistic forgery Madkour Sabet.

In addition to the organization's representatives in Jordan, Tunis, Morocco, Algeria, and the gulf states in addition to police officers affiliated to the Egyptian ministry of interior.
