Preparations continue on convening African - European summit

The African - European summit that will be organized by the Organization of African Unity will be held in Cairo on March 3 - 4 to discuss establishing a fruitful partnership between the two sides.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa told ArabicNews.com that the summit will discuss issues concerning economic and development problems, political issues and establishing a fruitful partnership with Europe, as well as making follow dates for further work.

Arab sources added that the European Union informed the Organization of African Unity about convening the summit in Cairo like what happened between the union and Latin America and that the summit will be held under the title "The summit of Europe and Africa," in which all countries of the African continent and the member states in the European Union will participate.
