Nasrallah assures continuing the katyusha
Lebanon, Politics, 2/17/2000

Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanon's Hizbullah Party, asserted that the katyusha weapons will remain to confront the Israeli occupation troops.

In his first press statements after the recent Israeli attack on Lebanon, Sheikh Nasrallah said the resistance has come to possess mature military thinking in its conflict with Israel, saying that the US support for the aggression assures Tel Aviv's failure in imposing its domination on Lebanon the small country.

Nasrallah's statements, which came on the anniversary of the assassination of Abas Mosowi, the former secretary general of Hizbullah, said that Israel bets on the negotiations' success on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks, absolute US support, and the increasing Arab disputes to stop the resistance, yet if a progress occurs in the peace process and Israel withdraws from south Lebanon, it would be a great success for the resistance which will put (away) its weapons immediately with withdrawal of the last Israeli soldier from the occupied Lebanon.
