Meetings of Egyptian - Jordanian committee commence today

Works of the joint supreme Egyptian - Jordanian committee started today in Cairo under the leadership of Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid and his Jordanian counterpart, Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh.
Jordanian sources said today that al-Rawabdeh will meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to convey him a written message from King Abdullah II that tackles the developments in the Middle East in the shadow of the Israeli shelling of south Lebanon.
The sources added that the committee will discuss the political, economic and commercial aspects as well as establishing free trade zones between the two countries, assuring that the relations between the two states encourage the establishment of commercial relations on the same political level.
