Sudanese president in Qatar after concluding visit to Kuwait

A round of official talks was held on Wednesday in Doha between Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani and Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, currently visiting Doha.
Talks dealt with relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in various areas.
The two sides reviewed the latest developments in Sudan and the efforts exerted by the Sudanese government to ensure security and peace in the country, as well several Arab and African issues and matters of mutual concern.
Earlier in the day, the Sudanese president concluded an official visit to Kuwait that lasted for three days, during which he held talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah and high-ranking Kuwaiti officials aimed at discussing means of developing and fostering bilateral relations.
In a press statement, the Sudanese president asserted that his visit to Kuwait was successful on all levels.
He expressed his hope that Sudanese- Kuwaiti relations will witness a detente in the coming phase, especially in the political, economic and cultural areas.
