Kuwait, Politics, 2/16/2000

A Kuwaiti diplomatic source in Cairo told ArabicNews.com that some members of the Kuwaiti government submitted their resignations Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, the prime minister and crown prince, after a hot session in the Kuwaiti parliament yesterday which witnessed severe criticism of the government.

The source stated that this procedure opens the way for an expanded reshuffle in a new government soon headed by Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah.

ArabicNews.com learned that Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jabir al-Ahmed al-Sabah might settle for changing the resigned ministers.
