Joint Saudi- Syrian committee minute of meetings signed in Riyadh

Minutes of meetings of the preparatory committee for the 8th session of the joint Syrian Saudi committee held in Riyadh on February 13 and 14 were signed on Tuesday.

The minutes of the meeting were signed by the Syrian deputy foreign minister and head of the Syrian delegation to the meeting, Suleiman Haddad, and by the under secretary of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, who is also the chairman of the Saudi delegation to the meeting, Youssef al-Saadoun.

After the signing ceremony Haddad and al-Saadoun exchanged statements in which they indicated the importance of relations between the two sisterly countries. They praised the spirit of cooperation maintained during the meeting.

The signed minutes of meeting between the two sides showed their satisfaction over bilateral cooperation in the areas of the economy, trade and investment, stressing the need to set up joint venture projects, exchange exports and welcome the positive results brought about by the introduction of the rules of the Arab free trade zone on trade exchange between the two countries.
