Emir of Kuwait confers with Sudanese president

A round of official talks was held on Tuesday in Kuwait between the emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, and Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, currently visiting Kuwait.
The minister of the Kuwaiti emir's divan's affairs, Sheikh Nasser Muhammad al-Ahmad al-Sabah, said that talks dealt with means of developing and promoting bilateral relations between the two countries and areas for strengthening them in all fields.
The two sides also discussed developments and current issues in the international arenas.
Earlier, Kuwait's crown prince and prime minister, Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, held a round of talks with President al-Bashir that dealt with means of developing bilateral relations.
