Report: Kuwaiti FM had surgery to regulate his heartbeat

The Kuwaiti daily al-Seyassa said in its Sunday issue that Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah underwent surgery to install a device to regulate his heartbeat.
The paper added that Sheikh Sabah (71) was admitted to the hospital on Friday and had this one-hour operation. The paper continued that two American physicians came especially to Kuwait to carry out this surgery and that they were accompanied an the official from the company which processed the device which is being used outside the US for the first time.
On Saturday evening Sheikh Sabah left the hospital where he was admitted at the beginning of February because of the flu.
