Swedish agriculture minister visits Morocco monday

Swedish minister of agriculture and maritime fisheries, Margretta Winberg, is expected in Morocco on Monday on a three day visit.

Mrs Winberg will cochair with her Moroccan peer, Habib Malki, a meeting of experts who will examine modes of establishing a cooperation between Moroccan farmers and the federation of Swedish farmers, similar to the one existing between sweden and the baltic countries.

Stakes of women's participation in rural development will also be probed by the experts.

The swedish official who is accompanied by representatives of private enterprises operating in the sectors of irrigation, forestry and women's integration will confer with other cabinet members, including minister of economy and finance, minister in charge of water and forests and secretary of state for social protection, family and childhood.
