Jordan-Egypt, Politics, 2/12/2000
Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh hailed the Egyptian efforts under the leadership of President Hosni Mubarak to push forward the peace process in the Middle East.
He said, "There is a Jordanian belief that peace would not be achieved in the Middle East unless it was just and comprehensive," referring that all parties must pay the price.
This declaration came on the occasion of convening the Egyptian - Jordanian committee on Thursday in Cairo.
Al-Rawabdeh emphasized the seriousness of stopping the peace process in the Middle East, referring to the importance of insisting at the present on applying the bilateral agreements and international legitimacy resolutions.
