Turning Egyptian atomic power organization into an economic sector
Egypt, Economics, 2/11/2000

The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Energy is discussing the executive steps to turn the atomic power organization to an economic sector by presenting services to the private and public sector that include radioisotopes, and special studies for developing industrial engineering, food and petroleum industries using the nuclear technology.

These steps came following the decision of Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid concerning turning many Egyptian public organizations into economic sectors to be able to provide their financial resources away from the governmental budget.
