Israel launches 12 new air raids against Lebanon, understanding committee meets today

Lebanon has asserted its commitment to the option of resistance until south Lebanon and the western Bekaa are liberated from the Israeli occupation. Lebanon has also stressed commitment to solidarity between the Syrian and Lebanese tracks and held Israel responsible for the deterioration of conditions in the region and the Middle East peace process. It has also expressed its regret over Washington's stand which it said favors Israel.

Meanwhile, the April Understanding Monitoring Committee will meet today to discuss the recent Israeli attacks against key Lebanese services projects and the infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces renewed their attacks against south Lebanon areas. The Israeli artillery intensively and violently bombarded the areas of Jabal al-Daher, Zalaya valley in the western Bekaa, and the Israeli warplanes carried out 12 new raids against Zouter town, al-Tasse river course, Litani river course. These attacks resulted in heavy material losses in farms and properties, the collision of a car and the wounding of one Lebanese citizen.

For its part, the Lebanese resistance attacked the positions, patrols and moves of the Israeli and its allied militias in Aramti, al-Rayhan, Beer Klaab, Sheyan Azar, al-Shaqif castle, al-Tibeh project, al-Radar, Hadatha, al-Jamouseh, Hamid and al-Didbeh. Direct hits were achieved in the lines of the Israeli forces and its fortifications.
