Canadian commercial trade arrives at Cairo

Egyptian - Canadian commercial discussions started today in Cairo through the mission of the Arab - Canadian commercial council which is currently visiting Cairo until February 14 under the chairmanship of James Patakalf, head of the council.
The mission is to discuss investment in Egyptian projects based on the BOT (build - operate - transfer) system, topped by establishing an airport in Ras Sedr at a cost of $100 million. This will be done through one of the Canadian companies with an Egyptian alliance that is comprised of three companies ( Tabarak, the Commercial Markets for Established and Tourism Development).
The governmental Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) will finance the airport project.
