German president to visit Palestine

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and German President Johannes Rau will lay the cornerstone for a project in the industrial area of Haneen on February 20 at a cost of $25 million US that Germany will fully pay.
Palestinian Industry Minister Sa'di Alkrunz said the industrial area in Haneen will be among the most successful industrial areas in the Palestinian lands due to its location on the border of the West Bank with Israel and close to the Israeli harbors.
Alkrunz added that the space that will be provided by the project through its three stages will reach 1,200 dunnums to be expanded to reach to 3,500 dunnums.
