Continuing the Israeli shelling on south Lebanon

Israeli jets shelled yesterday an 11-floors housing building with two missiles, due to which six citizens were injured while tens of houses were damaged.

Darkness now prevails in Beirut where repairs are taking place to provide Beirut with electric power, as the main station that feeds Beirut has been completely destroyed and information was circulated that the repairs will take long months.

Syrian sources in Cairo said, "There are European communications with the Syrian and Iranian leaderships in order to interfere to prevent members of Hizbullah from retaliating for the Israeli attacks, yet the officials in the two countries refused this and asked the countries which made the communications to interfere to persuade Israel to withdraw its soldiers from the occupied Lebanese lands."
