$3 billion in British - Egyptian trade

Sir Jeremy Hanley, head of the board of directors of the limited company for investment and international trade missions -and head of the British mission for trade and investment that is currently visiting Cairo, said that the volume of trade volume between the two countries has reached $3 billion annually.
Hanley added in special statements to ArabicNews.com that his country is about to become the largest non-Arab investor in Egypt as a result of British companies' entry into the fields of petroleum and natural gas, saying that the current mission aims at increasing the awareness among British companies of the opportunities in Egypt and at revitalizing the Egyptian - British business council through convening periodic semi-annual meetings in London and Cairo.
He added that the most important aims of the visit are finding Egyptian partners to work and invest in the UK and Egypt and that the main aim of the mission's visit is developing British investment in the Egyptian market and to learn about the developments in this market.
