Egypt, Culture, 2/9/2000
The Egyptian-US archaeological mission, which is undertaking the task of making archaeological scan along the old road extending in the western desert, yesterday discovered an important archaeological find in Forshout. The archaeological find dates back to the Middle Kingdom. The find, which includes engravings, testifies that the Hieroglyphic was the source of modern European languages.
"The American archaeological expedition unearthed the archaeological find at Wadi Hawl, Forshout," said Gaballah Ali Gabullah, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Antiquities (SCA).
