Israel informed the US on its operations in Lebanon

Israeli Radio said on Tuesday that Israel had informed the US of its prior intention of directing a military strike against the economic targets and the infrastructure in Lebanon. The radio added that the US understood the Israeli motives for such an operation but expressed its concern over the deterioration of security conditions.
