Tunisian private sector contributes to guarding the coast

The Tunisian government decided to establish a fund to protect the coastal tourism areas to be financed by Tunisian businessmen.
The fund will be concerned with the solid disposals on the shores in addition to establishing a special governmental fund for combating pollution from many different sources.
The special will present many technical and financial facilities as well as incentives for exploiting solar energy.
A statement issued by the Tunisian Ministry of Environment today said that there is a program in association with 117 civil associations concerned with protecting the environment to spread the culture of environmental awareness in the different stages of Tunisian education.
