Egyptian ambassador in UK: We follow the investigations and we did not demand handing over the pilot

Adel El-Gazzar, Egypt's ambassador in the UK, said that Egypt has not presented a formal request to the British authorities to hand over pilot Hamdi Hanafi Taha, who asked for the right of asylum in the UK.
He added following presenting a report to Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa that there there is complete cooperation between the British investigation authorities and the Egyptian fronts, including the Egyptian embassy in London, according to the international accords and laws concerning this matter.
In answering journalists' questions he said Egypt only follows up investigations step by step.
El-Gazzar also asserted that the pilot has no information about the October 31, 1999 crash of EgyptAir flight 990 into the Atlantic ocean, yet he wanted to justification for what he does, referring that this pilot is known for insatiable behaviors.
