Saudi, Italian FMs meet on bilateral issues

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, his Italian counterpart, Lamberto Dini, and members of the accompanying delegation currently visiting Saudi Arabia to chair the Italian side to the meeting of the joint Italian- Saudi committee, on Monday discussed issues of mutual concern between the two countries and means of improving and developing bilateral relations.
During the meeting between the two ministers a memorandum of understanding was signed by the two ministers which calls for regular political consultations between the foreign ministries in the two countries.
The Saudi FM recently returned to Riyadh after he had spent two months in the US during which he underwent a successful surgery.
