Cameroon and South-Africa make it to CAN-2000 semi-finals

Cameroon's Indomitable Lions are the first squad to make it to the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup "CAN-2000" jointly hosted by Ghana and Nigeria.
Cameroon settled the issue in the first half scoring twice while Algerians put on a good fight but could only reduce the gap with a single goal in the second half.
South-Africa's Bafana-Bafana managed to oust host country Ghana (1-0) and joined Cameroon for the semi-finals.
