El-Bashir: Mubarak mediates between Khartoum and Washington

The Sudanese president Omar El-Bashir said that the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak through his distinguished relations with U.S.A and the west played - according to Sudan's request - role for boosting the Sudanese relations with these countries and developing support to develop the Sudanese - U.S relations which will be resumed soon in addition to his support to Sudan's relations with the Arab states which president Mubarak visited.

El-Bashir added in an interview with the Sudanese T.V yesterday he will not meet with officials of the Sudanese opposition soon and that this is a mere rumor that has nothing to do with truth.
