A trend to lift house arrest from guide of Al-Adl Wal Ihsane group in Morocco

Moroccan Government spokesman and Minister of Employment Khalid Alioua asserted that Sheikh Abd El-Salam Yassin, guide of the extremist fundamentalsit group Al-Adl Wal Ihsane who has been under house arrest for 10 years, must enjoy all rights and freedoms like any Moroccan citizen on the basis accepted by all the Moroccans, especially in the political field.

He refered in a press conference after meeting of the Cabinet on Thursday eventing to the possibility that Sheikh Yassin's status may witness a change and improvement in the future, saying in reference to the note addressed by Sheikh Yassin under the title "to whom it may concern" that the Moroccans agreed that there are sacred values that no one should harm.

Alioua said the Cabinet did not tackle in its meeting whether to discuss or examine this note.
