Egypt, capable of attracting huge technology investments

Addressing a joint meeting of Northern Virginia Technology Council and Arab American Chamber of Commerce, Egypt's Ambassador to Washington Nabil Fahmy highlighted that Egypt gave top priority to communication technology as a main source inspiring huge US investments.

Fahmy welcomed the American communication technology delegation due to visit Egypt on April 22.

Speaking to the meeting also was Mike Gadpo, Head of the American side in the Egyptian American Presidential Council. He said that Egypt is witnessing a technological torrent that will revolutionize its national industry.

Egypt's Ambassador in Washington also received at the premises of the Egyptian Embassy, Technology Minister of Virginia State. Fahmy expressed Egypt's keenness to promote bilateral ties in this field, with Virginia, the world's Internet capital.
