French delegation explores investment opportunities in Algeria

A delegation of French industrial figures and businessmen headed by chief executive of the French Institution MEDEF International Francois Perigot started on Friday a mission in Algeria to explore potential investment projects.
The 120-strong delegation, representing French companies, will seek to make big deals while touring several cities for talks with officials, chief bankers and eminent commercial figures.
Algerian foreign minister Yousef Al-Yousifi paid a visit to Paris in late January to prepare for a visit to France by Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the first by an Algerian president since 1982.
