International Air Companies Association Meets in Morocco

The International Association of Air Carriers is holding this Feb.5-7 the 100th meeting of its general assembly in Ouarzazate (southern Morocco). Delegates of air companies member of the association will be endeavoring to improve customer services, mainly by developing interlining that enables passengers to fly anyone of the member companies.
The meting will also look into on-board sales, safety issues and aspects of permanent cooperation between members of the association and other international associations.
Set up in 1950, the association musters 17 francophone air companies that service Africa, the Pacific, Indian Ocean and France. Member companies conduct 2/3 of their global traffic inside this region.
