Egypt calls for international cooperation in combating terrorism

Egyptian Interior Minister Habab al-Adly asserted the necessity of international cooperation for combating terrorism.

In a press conference held yesterday in Cairo following his return from Algeria after his participation in the Arab interior ministers' council, al-Adly said that some of the African countries have unfortunately become arenas for terrorist elements.

He added that these elements are also using these countries as transit centers to move to other countries, referring to the importance of handing the terrorists over to their country to be tried, asserting that his country is concerned with establishing security in the Arab states because it means stability in the Egyptian security.
