Germany underlines the importance of peace in the Middle East

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid met on Thursday in Cairo with German Minister for International Cooperation Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul and discussed with her cooperation relations between the two countries in various economic fields.
In a statement following the meeting, the German minister asserted her country's interest in achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East so as to ensure security and stability in this region.
