Kuwaiti foreign minister undergoes medical tests

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah has stated that he underwent satisfactory medical tests after he had influenza.
The Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, broadcast this news following a report by the opposition weekly al-Talee'a which said that Sheikh Sabah underwent minor surgery to install a device for monitoring his heartbeats.
Earlier one Kuwait minister said that Sheikh Sabah (70) was admitted to the hospital at the beginning of this week after he had a strong flu that resulted in him losing his voice for a while.
Meanwhile, the second marketing exhibition " Hala Febrayer (welcome February) started on Wednesday in Kuwait. Thousands of Kuwaitis and foreigners gathered in the downtown of the capital to attend a military parade for the army units.
