Housing first batch to relocate Sahrawis

The housing project in Oued Dahab-Lagouira region, in southern Morocco, meant to provide accommodation for Moroccan citizens detained in Tindouf camps after they return home, is nearing completion in Dakhla and Aousserd.

100 have been completed and 700 others will be available in the coming months out of a total of 6,000 provided for in the social housing project of the southern provinces of the kingdom.

On the other hand, construction work on the "Al Wahda" city project is to be launched shortly to cater to the needs of people now living in Dakhla's Al Wahda camps. The 30 hectare site includes 1,617 plots for two-floor houses and spaces for 12 public service facilities.
