King Mohammed receives speaker of Bulgarian Parliament

King Mohammed VI received in Rabat this Thursday the visiting speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Yordan Sokolov, and head of the Moroccan-Bulgarian friendship group.
The Bulgarian official, visiting Morocco this Feb.1-5, was in Agadir (southwestern Morocco) where he met with city officials over consolidation of friendship and cooperation ties between Morocco and Bulgaria.
Sokolov and a group of eleven representatives accompanying him visited the port, a farm and tourism facilities in the region.
The Bulgarian delegation is scheduled to meet in Rabat with Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi and the speakers of the two houses of the parliament, Abdelouahed Radi and Mohamed Jalal Essaid.
Morocco and Bulgaria signed in December an agricultural cooperation agreement during the Bulgarian trade and tourism minister's visit to Morocco. A free-trade area is scheduled to be set up.
