Egyptian ministry of culture takes urgent procedures to confront archeology forger
Egypt-Belgium, Culture, 2/3/2000

Egyptian Culture Minister Farouk Hosni said his ministry is taking urgent procedures against a Belgian artist who forged acquisitions of Tutankhamoun's cemetery, as the ministry intends to sue the Belgium artist as that UNESCO's laws prohibit copying the archeology in general and Egyptian archeology in particular. Hosni told ArabicNews.com that it is very serious and is considered a public theft and a trespass on the history of the world's civilizations and that an Egyptian - Belgian legal team has been formed to confront this forger.
