Arab condemnation of the massacres in Chechnya

The foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Tunisia and Jordan expressed their deep anxiety toward the suffering of innocent civilians in Chechnya due to random Russian shelling of housing and civilians.
In a statement at the conclusion of their meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov in Moscow, the Arab ministers urged the Russian government to stop the fight immediately in Chechnya and start negotiating to reach a quick peaceful solution that assure Chechnya's rights.
