Islamic Awqaf ministers conclude meeting in Riyadh

Deliberations of the sixth session of the conference of al-Awqaf (Islamic trusts) and Islamic affairs ministers concluded in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
During their two-day session, the conference's executive council discussed a number of issues connected with ways of safeguarding Awqaf endowments and protecting the rich Islamic heritage and means of encouraging investment projects.
The council comprises Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Indonesia, Gambia and Pakistan.
