Al-Assad gets a message from Tony Blair

Syrian President Hafez al-Assad on Wednesday received a message from
British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa received the message during his meeting with member of the British House of Lords, Lord Michael Levy, who is the special envoy of the British prime minister.
The meeting was attended by the British ambassador in Damascus, Basil Eastwood.
Talks dealt with developments of the Middle East peace process, the results it has achieved so far and bilateral relations.
